Producer

As a producer and recording engineer, Eric carries over his experience playing acoustic instruments in live spaces, and blends old- and new-school recording techniques to get organic and natural sounds. 

He has recorded and mixed numerous live and studio albums by swing bands like Gordon Webster, The Solomon Douglas Swingtet and Moonshine Rhythm Club. 

He also worked alongside mobile recording legend Steve Remote on live albums from the Blue Note jazz club in New York, NPR’s coverage of the Newport Jazz and Folk festivals, and live recordings and broadcasts with Earth, Wind & Fire, Chicago, Average White Band and others. 

Eric has appeared on studio recordings by A.C. Newman (of The New Pornographers), Jonathan Scales Fourchestra (with Victor Wooten, Bela Fleck, Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah, MonoNeon and others), and countless independent jazz, folk, Americana, indie rock and other albums.
